Job Description / Overview We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Brantford, Ontario at our Brantford Mixing Centre (BRMC) starting January 2026. Responsibilities Partner with the Site HR Leader to support day‑to‑day work systems, tasks, and HR needs of the organization. Provide day‑to‑day employee support with timesheets, leaves of absence, flexible work arrangements, etc. Support employees and leaders with policy and benefits guidance. Payroll and time administration – research and resolve payroll issues, directly or with key internal payroll partners. Maintain employment records in appropriate systems. Support projects related to organizational culture, training and development, manager‑employee and team relationships. Partner with Employee Relations Practice to analyze and prevent potential issues with new policies or systems that impact pay, time off, calculations, etc. Qualifications 1–3 years of HR experience required. Payroll experience an asset. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to execute with excellence, working in partnership with the Site HR Leader to ensure on‑time delivery and system efficiency. Interest in growing your capabilities within HR, strong motivation to drive change, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Proactive, with the ability to learn new systems easily. Strong technical and computer skills: proficiency in O‑365, Microsoft Office tools, SAP, Workday, Teams, CATS (or ability to learn), and Workday Drive (or ability to learn). Self‑motivated and self‑starter, able to function and make decisions independently, with strong organization and follow‑through skills and the ability to prioritize workload and refocus as situations change. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
