About the Team The Outside Sales team has been the face of DoorDash to our merchant partners since our founding in 2013. Stationed locally, this team creates deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional merchants, strengthening operations, accelerating consumer growth, and improving our bottom line. About the Role We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to bring the best local and regional merchants onto DoorDash’s platform. As part of the Outside Sales team, you’ll support Canada and all opportunities within it, laying the foundation for DoorDash’s competitive advantage through industry‑leading partnership terms. The role is remote with required travel for in‑person collaboration, trainings, off‑sites, and other business‑related needs. You will report to the Sales Development Manager and have direct access to growth opportunities. Responsibilities Identify, contact, and qualify the most important merchants and their decision makers in your market Partner with Account Executives to secure meetings that forward the interests of both DoorDash and our merchant prospects Conduct high‑volume cold calling (65+ dials per day) and emailing to access and qualify decision makers Refine sales messaging, prospecting, qualifying, and closing techniques Report directly to the Sales Development Manager, who will support your growth in your role and career Qualifications 1+ years experience in high‑volume outbound cold calling Excellent at motivating potential partners to see the benefits DoorDash will bring to their business Creative sales tactics to engage with prospects Experience exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals Ability to navigate sales and internal tools (Salesforce, Google Apps) Compensation & Benefits Base salary is localized according to employee work location. Base pay ranges from $21.21–$30.31 CAD, while on‑target earnings (base + commissions) range from $30.30–$43.30 CAD. Additional sales commission opportunities are available.
