p>Momentum Financial Services is a leading provider of financial services in North America. Through our retail network of over 400 locations, known as Moneymart, Insta Cheques and the Cheque Cashing store, we provide access to cash and related products to help our customers achieve their goals.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ownership of the product roadmap, along with full P&L ownership of the Canadian and US Installment lending & core Cheque Cashing business - personal and commercial
  2. Work closely with our technology teams to guide current product features and develop new features
  3. Build out product roadmap for Installment loan to grow market share
  4. Build small business and commercial Cheque Cashing program – driving synergies to push cross product utilization
  5. Plan and strategize internal and external growth opportunities, testing new channel and acquisition opportunities
  6. Drive robust and reliable insights, utilizing Tableau to manage business insights and drive performance
  7. Manage the regulatory compliance aspect of products
  8. Monitor the competitive landscape and stay abreast of new initiatives within the market
  9. Create and implement a strategic plan across multiple product channels and geographies
  10. Build reports and presentations for leadership
  11. Work with retail and channel leaders to deliver plan results
  12. Work closely with cross functional teams to build and implement marketing initiatives
Qualifications

EDUCATION

  1. Bachelor's degree required and a graduate degree in a related field is highly desirable

EXPERIENCE

  1. 5-7 years of consumer product experience
  2. Subject matter expert in the Canadian financial services space
  3. Demonstrated experience in product development, along with knowledge of product management strategies
  4. Omnichannel distribution experience – both retail and digital delivery
  5. Experience in the alternative financial services space considered an asset

SKILLS

  1. Well versed in macro/micro market analysis
  2. Deep analytical capabilities - must be able to use Tableau
  3. Ability to collaborate with peers to deliver on cross functional priorities
  4. Strong relationship management skills
  5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and grow a diverse team
  6. Great communication skills – both written and verbal
  7. Capable of managing complex problems and providing fact-based recommendations
