Job Description: We currently have an opening for a Junior Electrical Technologist in our Whitehorse office. Your responsibilities will include design and drafting of electrical, instrumentation and control for a variety of municipal, commercial, and industrial projects. p>

Job Requirements:

  1. Diploma in engineering technology from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  2. Minimum of 1+ years of progressive experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
  3. Experience preparing Revit/AutoCAD drawings for electrical systems including layouts, schematics, details, and specifications pertaining to electrical system design.
  4. Proficiency with latest versions of AutoCAD.
  5. Experience working for a consulting engineering firm is an asset, including multi-discipline design compliance with drafting standards and QA/QC procedures.
  6. Some experience with spreadsheets and other software tools for electrical design and sizing is an asset.
  7. Valid Driver's License (required).
