System IntegratorWe are seeking a dedicated System Integrator (SI) to join our growing team on a full-time basis to support our mining sector clients. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with PAC/PLC/RPU/RTU/DCS programming across various platforms, including GE, Emerson, Schneider Electric Modicon, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens. With over 25 years of experience spanning across all locations, we provide Electrical Engineering, System Integration, IT/OT, IoT services, and consulting to our client base across North America.Job OverviewKey responsibilities include interpreting control system schematics and developing Process Control Narratives/functional specifications and I/O Lists; performing PLC and SCADA programming, FAT/SAT, site startup, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support; contributing to system integration projects and collaborating with the team to ensure client satisfaction; working as part of multidisciplinary teams or independently as project needs dictate; supporting the development and maintenance of client relationships; and participating in industrial control system design including control panels, networks, and instrumentation (asset). Server configuration, virtualization, and network equipment configuration experience are considered assets.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret control system schematics and develop Process Control Narratives / functional specifications and I/O Lists.Perform PLC and SCADA programming, FAT/SAT, site startup, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.Contribute to system integration projects and collaborate with the team to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction.Work as part of multidisciplinary teams as well as independently as dictated by project needs.Support the development and maintain relationships with clients, both new and existing.Industrial control system design including but not limited to control panels, networks, and instrumentation (asset).Server configuration, virtualization, network equipment configuration experience (asset).Qualifications3 years of experience in System Integration and SCADA development/programming, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial sector.Proficiency in PAC/PLC/RPU/RTU/DCS programming and SCADA/HMI programming.Experience with Java programming, JavaScript, CSS, RDBMS development (MySQL, SQL, Oracle, etc.), Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, Actuate, or Oracle Reports is advantageous.Educational background in Control Systems, Engineering/Technology, or Computer Programming. Certifications in or eligible to obtain C.E.T. or P. Eng preferred.Strong command of English, both written and verbal.Ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.Excellent organizational and time management skills.The expected salary for this position is from $67,000 to $92,000 and is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity.
