Millwright – Barrhead, AB As a Millwright, you will provide maintenance support to maximize production and supply quality products to our customers. Responsibilities Perform repairs and preventative maintenance Design and fabricate parts to modify equipment as needed Conduct steam trap analysis, including repairs to steam-related equipment Maintain and update all schematics after work completion that pertain to the Mill Practice and enforce plant safety and food safety standards Investigate all reports of mechanical and operational problems in the Mill Communicate with management any failures found in the Mill Qualifications Knowledge of maintenance practices, preventative and predictive maintenance Strong computer, math, electrical, welding, plumbing, and pipe fitting skills Experience with work orders, unscheduled maintenance, and task forms with appropriate documentation, boiler water treatment, and RO monitoring Monday to Friday work schedule Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively Capability to lift and stack 50 lbs Journeyman Red Seal Millwright certificate required Welding experience considered an asset Compensation & Benefits Richardson International provides a competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan, and opportunities for training and career development.
