Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investments, the Analyst will be a key part of a top national industrial Investment team. The new team member will learn in a fast-paced environment with exposure to all aspects of acquisitions/dispositions.Core Responsibilities:Underwrite and value properties using Argus/MS Excel to create accurate financial models for income-producing properties and development projects.Accurately generate supplemental materials to the financial models, such as investment summaries, maps, and presentations on a timely basis with exceptional attention to detail.Analyze property information such as leases, rent rolls, property budgets, surveys, historical capital projects spend, and financing.Assist with coordination during the due diligence process (engaging third parties, maintaining property information in an organized manner, coordinate site visits, and other ad hoc requests)Maintain an accurate record of transactions that have been considered and/or executed on.Develop market knowledge by attending conferences, meeting key industry professionals, collecting information on comparable sales, and reviewing/synthesizing market reports.Required Skills and Experience:Relevant undergraduate degree in finance, business administration, economics, real estate, mathematics, or accounting.Minimum one to three years of relevant experience in commercial real estate (focused on investments and/or asset management).Professional proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.Completed or in progress Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and proficiency in Argus Enterprise are desirable.Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a high level of attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing deadlines. Strong project management skills.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with an ability to work collaboratively.Exceptional time management and organizational skills.A keen interest in the industrial asset class and enthusiasm for its future.Our people are what make us different.
