It offers a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $76,135 to $85,660. An initial appointment of 1 year is provided. This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton.ResponsibilitiesWith approval, and under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, conduct a major portion of research projects independently in service to the overall research goals/objectives. Provide leadership for the clinical pharmacogenomics research portion of the Precision Addiction and Mental Health (AMH) Lab, assisting with strategic advice and direction; accountable for planning, negotiating, problem solving, risk assessment and prevention, and operational oversight of resources.Design, test, and evaluate advanced research methodology, protocols, and techniques to ensure alignment with research goals/objectives.Oversee and implement data collection and analysis. Conduct quality analysis and quality assurance on methodology/experimental approaches and techniques.Manage the use of resources within research projects.
