A successful candidate will be someone who demonstrates a proactive and rigorous approach, and expertise within the world of digital assets.

Based ideally out of our Downtown Toronto Office (but willing to accommodate the right candidate remotely) the main responsibilities and expectations for the role are as follows:Work with the Lending team to support the end-to-end origination and risk management process - determining product structures, negotiating commercial terms, identifying risks and ways to mitigate them, establish funding rates & sources of capital.Continue the buildout of the lending business, with a special focus on risk management framework, technology, and other infrastructure.Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring service levels of the highest standards.Assist other internal service partners with post-trade analysis and risk management tasks.3+ years of lending experience in any asset class.An understanding of digital assets, distributed ledgers, blockchain technologies, and crypto more broadly.Understands existing and emerging trends in the cryptocurrency and digital assets space.Advanced analytical and time management skills.Familiarity with financial services legal and regulatory industry landscapes.Flexible working conditions.Great location with highly-talented international colleagues.About Secure Digital Markets
