Community Integration Care Coordinator | Public Health Join to apply for the Community Integration Care Coordinator | Public Health role at Interior Health Authority Interior Health is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Integration Care Coordinator (CICC) to join our team at the Kamloops Public Health Unit in beautiful Kamloops, B.C. The role is a casual position ideal for a Registered Nurse with a strong foundation in public health nursing. Candidates will bring expertise in infant, child, and adult routine and high‑risk immunizations; maternal and child pre/postnatal care; comprehensive school health; and communicable disease follow‑up and treatment. A flexible schedule, training, a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required as travel within the region may be necessary. Days of work: Days from 08:18 to 16:30. About The Role The Community Integration Care Coordinator (CICC) practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), within a client and family centred care model. The CICC is responsible for the coordination of day‑to‑day operations and quality client care within designated clinical areas and supports the seamless movement of clients through the healthcare system and in accessing appropriate resources. The CICC supervises and serves as a role model and a resource to staff for clinical decision‑making, the clinical assessments of clients and in the counselling and education of families. Reviews, analyses, and makes recommendations on the development of administrative systems such as policies, procedures and standards of client care, adequate staffing levels, and a continuous quality improvement environment. Liaises with an interdisciplinary team for the identification, coordination, and efficient utilisation of resources.
