The role will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, kitchen equipment products, and Mechanical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose HVAC equipment and understand product wiring diagrams.Install HVAC/R-related equipment and components.Overhaul and service HVAC/R units and systems.Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems.Adhere to all company policies and procedures.Perform all job functions safely, complying with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and regulations.Contribute to training and mentoring of apprentices.Follow the Company’s Quality System operating procedures.Perform other duties as assigned by Management.QualificationsCertified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic.Minimum 5 years of commercial experience.Experience with restaurant refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance.Knowledge of HVAC Refrigeration trade practices, methods, tools, and materials.Valid Alberta driver’s license.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are an asset.Dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter) preferred.Why work at Ainsworth?Ainsworth is growing rapidly.
