What You’ll Be Doing: Developing firmware for PAM4 Serdes spanning PCIe and Ethernet protocols. Collaborating with various teams for firmware development and debugging. Verifying functional behavior through Verilog simulations. Implementing equalization algorithms and product features. Working on post-silicon bring-up to optimize hardware and algorithms. Using scripting languages to streamline development processes.

The Impact You Will Have: Contribute to high-performance silicon chips for various computing devices. Enhance SoC capabilities in game consoles, smartphones, servers, etc. Support advanced Serdes PHY IP integration with embedded processors. Develop innovative product features and equalization algorithms. Collaborate on post-silicon bring-up for optimal performance. Reduce risk and time-to-market for differentiated products.

What You’ll Need: Proficiency in C and Verilog programming languages. Strong understanding of digital logic and firmware development. Experience with Verilog simulations. Scripting experience with Perl, Python, Bash, or Csh. Enrollment in relevant engineering program, include transcripts with your resume.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of: We deliver IP solutions to our customers, whose SoCs are used in computing devices including game consoles, graphics processors, smartphones, servers, and many more. Our Serdes PHY IP includes an embedded processor to run firmware associated with today’s advanced technologies. Developing Serdes PHY Firmware involves implementing equalization algorithms, developing product features and customer-specific enhancements, and post-silicon bring-up and optimization. Our Silicon IP business is all about integrating more capabilities into an SoC-faster. We offer the world’s broadest portfolio of silicon IP-predesigned blocks of logic, memory, interfaces, analog, security, and embedded processors - all to help customers integrate more capabilities and meet unique performance, power, and size requirements of their target applications.
