Position Legal and Compliance Specialist Type Full-time Compensation $90,000–$200,000/year Location Remote or Palo Alto, CA Commitment 40 hours/week Role Responsibilities Use proprietary tools to annotate and evaluate data related to legal and compliance topics. Provide detailed input on scenarios involving contract analysis, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Collaborate with research and technical teams to develop, test, and improve data annotation workflows. Analyze complex legal materials to ensure accuracy and integrity in AI model understanding. Interpret evolving task instructions and maintain consistency, precision, and sound professional judgment. Qualifications Must-Have Professional experience in legal, compliance, or related fields. Proficiency in reading and writing both informal and professional English. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and apply critical reasoning to complex material. Demonstrated interest in technology, innovation, and AI-driven solutions for legal and compliance systems. Preferred JD, bar admission, or recognized certification such as Certified Compliance Professional (CCP). Experience mentoring or training others in legal or compliance practices. Familiarity with AI workflows, data annotation, or technology-focused legal environments. Comfortable recording short audio or video sessions for data collection. Compensation & Legal Competitive pay ranging from $90,000 to $200,000 annually for U.S.-based professionals, depending on experience and location.
