As a Team Leader at Ashlynn Grange Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering high quality care.About Ashlynn Grange Care Home:Ashlynn Grange is an exceptional 153-bed care home in Peterborough, known for its beautiful gardens and a variety of vegetables.The level of care at Ashlynn Grange is exceptional, and staff keep residents entertained with a full programme of activities and live performances on our outdoor stage. Our newly refurbished café serves a variety of fresh tea, coffee and cakes daily.About the role:As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key part in care delivery in the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas.One of our values is Celebrating Every Individual and we have fantastic Learning and Development options at Athena Care Homes to support your progression. Development from this role can lead to CHAPS or nursing positions, with fully funded apprenticeships available to help you achieve an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.Salary:£12.24 per hour.Shift Pattern:12-hour shifts worked on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.Home Location:Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to the care team whilst on duty.Motivate and inspire the care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care.Manage supervision, appraisal and performance management of the care team.Carry out enhanced clinical care duties; including clinical observations and monitoring of vital signs.Training, Skills & Experience Required:A passion for care; a genuinely caring individual who puts the needs of residents first.Experience in a similar senior care position.Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.Proven track record in leading, empowering, supporting & motivating a team.What we can offer:Comprehensive induction.Competitive salary, plus enhancements on bank holidays.28 days of holiday per year.Free Blue Light Card & access to the Blue Light discount platform.Refer a friend scheme.About Athena:Athena Care Homes is a family-run business with seven homes across East Anglia, aiming to be the provider of choice for residents and the employer of choice for team members.Our purpose is to create excellent quality environments with the highest standards of care, catering, housekeeping and activities, enhancing the lives of our residents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
