Medical Device Assembler

Base Pay Range CA$18.00/hr — CA$20.00/hr Key Responsibilities Assemble and inspect micro-scale components and cartridges following approved procedures. Perform mechanical and electronic assembly, including wire harnesses, pin insertion, and microfluidic device integration. Operate under a microscope for 5–6+ hours daily to ensure precision and quality. Follow gowning protocols (hairnets, shoe covers, gowns) to maintain a contamination-sensitive environment. Maintain accurate production records and adhere to detailed work instructions. Use hand tools and basic electronic testing equipment to verify functionality. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and quality standards. Required Skills & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with microelectronic devices, hearing aids, or nail work (highly transferable skills). Familiarity with wire harnessing, pin assembly, or small‑scale mechanical/electronic components. Prior experience in a production environment with contamination control protocols (preferred). Strong hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently under a microscope for extended periods. Basic computer skills for data entry and test documentation. Compensation CA$18.00/hr — CA$20.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and education. Benefits Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance and AD&D.
