What You'll Be Doing You will be responsible for working with a Senior Private Banker to effectively manage and grow a portfolio of cash management, lending and investment products and services, increasing overall profit contribution to CIBC Private Wealth Management. You will provide exceptional service to your team’s UHNW Private Banking clients by assisting them with their transactional banking needs reactively and proactively, supporting the Senior Private Banker in introducing clients to partners across the Bank. How You’ll Succeed Relationship and Portfolio Management – Build a portfolio of HNW clients, ensuring quality via risk assessment and financial analysis, resolve complex credit issues with Credit Specialists, and provide specialized services to key HNW markets. Planning and Advice – Review client portfolios holistically, identify opportunities, conduct portfolio reviews, and introduce new product and service solutions. Business Development – Acquire new clients with sophisticated financial needs, identify untapped opportunities, represent CIBC at boards and events, and support large deal teams for ultra HNW clients. Lifelong Learning – Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and legislation, communicate changes to clients, and build a professional network in the target client segment. Who You Are Certified professional with completed Canadian Securities Course, Professional Financial Planning Course, Conduct & Practices Handbook and continuing education to Certified Financial Planner designation. Experience in personal financial planning concepts and strong knowledge of banking, investment and credit products; background in private banking, wealth advisory or brokerage. Client-first mindset with strong relationship management skills and proven success in building and maintaining new client relationships. Established local business community profile, active in community events, charitable organizations and industry associations.
