As Majestic Metals continues to grow, we’re seeking a hands‑on, detail-oriented professional to coordinate estimating, quoting, material planning, and project logistics. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic construction environment, can build strong customer and supplier relationships, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves—whether that means helping in the yard, operating a forklift, or ensuring materials are ready for the next job. What you’ll be doing: Prepare accurate take-offs, estimates, and quotations for roofing, siding, and custom metal fabrication projects. Review drawings, specifications, and project details to determine material and labour requirements. Communicate with customers, contractors, and suppliers to clarify project scope, timelines, and pricing. Follow up on quotes and assist with converting estimates into confirmed sales orders. Project Coordination & Scheduling Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and inventory to ensure smooth project execution. Work closely with shop and field crews to align schedules and confirm material readiness. Track project progress, timelines, and costs to ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion. Support operational planning and problem‑solving for day‑to‑day project needs. Operations & Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of inventory, including metal products, fasteners, and other supplies. Assist with receiving, organizing, and handling materials. Liaise with suppliers to confirm lead times, manage purchase orders, and track deliveries. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across operations. Qualifications & Experience 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, estimating, or operations—preferably in construction, manufacturing, or building materials. Strong understanding of construction drawings, take‑offs, and material requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); experience with estimating considered an asset. Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment where priorities shift quickly. Knowledge of metal roofing/siding systems or related trades considered an asset. Work with a trusted local company that values quality, teamwork, and craftsmanship.
