The Opportunity We are looking for a detail-driven and motivated Junior Bookkeeper to support our growing finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping. As a Junior Bookkeeper, you will assist with daily transaction entry, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across our financial systems. What You’ll Do Enter and manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger entries. Ensure timely vendor payments and collections via checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Respond to vendor and customer inquiries, resolving any discrepancies promptly. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including inventory reconciliation and general ledger review. Assist with preparation of AR/AP aging reports and other financial summaries as needed. Perform account reconciliations and support inter-company transactions and adjustments. Maintain accurate financial documentation and assist in audit preparation. Carry out additional administrative and financial support tasks as assigned. What We’re Looking For Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Foundational knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles; experience with SAP is an asset. Strong attention to detail, with excellent data entry and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
