Join to apply for the Core QA Team Lead role at General Motors Job Description Build an effective QA team, mentor members, and efficiently manage resources to support projects and ensure quality delivery. Guide and provide feedback on team member performance and behavior. Support EGM on hiring process with acquisition of new talents. Define test strategy and test plan based on software development plan for the projects. Work with the team to design detailed test cases and set up the test environment. Develop test tools and test scripts to automate testing. Prepare test report, provide initial issue analysis, and contribute to defect prevention. Participate in the continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies. Qualifications 10+ years of software quality assurance or test experience in mobile or automotive industry. 3+ years of experience testing Android code, and 3 years as a Scrum Lead, Product Owner or Team Lead. Solid knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and tools. Strong experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium). Programming skills in common languages such as Python, Java. Knowledge of Scrum/Agile software development process. Knowledge of connectivity technologies and vehicle communication network protocols (CAN, Ethernet). Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, work efficiently and deliver on time in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, coordination and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field. Advanced degrees and certifications preferred.
