Red River Co-op (RRC) is recruiting for the position of IT Business Analyst at our home office located at 10 Prairie Way, in Winnipeg. h3>

  1. Be the liaison between technical staff and stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  2. Responsible for managing projects, including identification of risks and issues, as well as proposed mitigation strategies.
  3. Oversee the delivery of service by third-party IT support services, resolving issues as they arise.
  4. Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business systems as part of a continuous improvement strategy; li>
  5. Assist with the development of various project documents and project deliverables including project proposals, business cases, business requirements documents, and business process flows.
  6. In conjunction with third party service provider, recommend practical alternative solutions to a wide range of complex business problems while ensuring any potential issues are identified, tracked, and resolved.
  7. Develop an IT training plan and coordinate the delivery of the training material, including tracking completion.
  8. Coordinate security related activities (Example: Penetration Testing, Maturity Threat Analysis).
  9. Develop and standardize documentation for internal key IT functions.
  10. Coordinate Disaster Recovery testing activities with relevant technical resources within the business.
    1. University degree or college diploma in a related field.
    2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, managers, and ability to negotiate effectively to manage project deliverables.
    3. You are motivated, flexible and possess a strong work ethic.
