Position Summary The NeoBrainLab (www.neobrainlab.org) is seeking a highly motivated and organized Clinical Research Coordinator to support ongoing and upcoming clinical trials and database projects involving neonates with hypoxic‑ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating study activities across multiple sites, ensuring data integrity, regulatory compliance, and excellence in patient‑centered research. Responsibilities Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible neonates and manage consent procedures with parents. Coordinate research‑related procedures such as brain MRI, echocardiography, eye exams, and other clinical assessments. Maintain timely and accurate completion of case report forms and database entries in REDCap. Support data management, including setup and maintenance of REDCap databases and the imaging repository (MedicAI) and secure data storage on the institutional server. Provide education and support to parents throughout study participation and follow‑up. Coordinate appointments and assist with medical procedures, monitor adherence to GCP and regulatory requirements, and support the preparation of manuscripts. Assist with preparation and submission of study protocols, amendments, and annual renewals to the Research Ethics Board; support Health Canada documentation and grant applications. Contribute to process improvement and quality assurance activities. Education & Experience Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in health sciences or a related field (Bachelor’s degree an asset). Minimum one (1) year of clinical research experience. Required Skills Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written). Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills. Strong ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. High degree of autonomy, initiative, and ethical judgment. Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to multitask and manage time‑sensitive priorities effectively. Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel), familiarity with REDCap and database management, familiarity with MRI and ultrasounds. Assets Prior experience with randomized clinical trials (RCTs). Knowledge of international, federal, and provincial regulations governing clinical research (ICH‑GCP). Additional Information Status: Temporary, full time (35‑hour workweek). Pay Scale: $44,408.00 – $82,427.80 (commensurate with education & experience). Work Shift: Variable schedule.
