You’ll be the senior consultants for multiple clients — investment funds, AI companies, logistics, real estate operations and celebrity brands, so you will gain exposure first‑hand. What you’ll own Lead go‑public readiness assessments: identify gaps in reporting, governance and internal control frameworks and build practical remediation plans; Write technical memos, develop models and working papers to support the balances; Drive annual and interim financial statement preparations and conversions for clients preparing for exchange listing; Coordinate with the deal team: auditors, legal counsel, bankers and advisors to ensure seamless submissions to the regulators and exchanges; Prepare pro forma financials, MD&A and filing support documentation for listing packages. Finance Operations & Leadership Oversee month‑end and year‑end close across multiple clients, including consolidated statements and closing entries. Manage AP/AR, payroll oversight, treasury and general ledger controls; implement efficient workflows. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and insightful financial analysis that informs executive decision‑making. Design and improve internal controls, processes and financial systems (cloud accounting, HRIS and payment processing experience a plus). Mentor junior staff, triage the shared finance inboxes, and serve as the primary client finance contact. Who you are CPA Ontario member preferred; Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance required; Public company audit or IPO‑preparation experience strongly preferred; 3+ years professional experience for Senior Consultant; 5+ professional experience for Manager; Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP; Comfortable owning multiple client engagements and hitting concurrent deadlines; Strong communicator who can simplify complex accounting topics for executives and auditors; Advanced Excel and experience working with cloud accounting/ERP tools is an asset; Knowledge of tax rules would be a plus. What success looks like (6–12 months) You’ve led at least one client through a successful transaction (IPO/RTO/Financing); You’ve mastered or improved the close processes and month‑end cycle times for two+ clients; Junior staff report accelerated development under your mentorship; Your clients are comfortable talking to you directly on a daily basis; Partners trust you with higher‑stakes engagements.
