The base salary range for this position is determined based on market location and is influenced by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. The final offer will be commensurate with the candidate’s years of experience, education, geographic location, and demonstrated ability.Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting for a full-time Client Advisor, Auto Insurance to work in our Kamloops South office. This role’s purpose is to advise, explain, promote and sell insurance policies to ensure Acera clients are correctly insured. If you thrive on a high pace and keeping clients happy while protecting their livelihood, this role is for you.You will use your expertise to:Provide auto and other types of insurance, including commercial fleet, to our clientsRecommend and implement clients\' insurance coverages, premiums and methods of paymentProvide information on varying insurance policies, including risk coverages, limitations and other featuresRespond to emergencies and assist clients with their claimsProcess transactions in EPIC, ICBC system, autolink and private insurers web portalsComplete other duties and tasks as assigned by your team leaderWe would like to hear from you if you have:Must-haves (Minimum Requirements)Client focused mindsetThe ability to work weekendsAdaptable and accepting of changeWell-developed people and professional communication skillsCourteous to clients and co-workersAdhere to the Insurance Council of BC Code of ConductA Level 1 BC General Insurance License or a commitment to obtaining a license within 30 days of hire dateAcera Insurance is the largest independent, employee-controlled brokerage in Canada.
