System Administrator/SAN Support AnalystWe are currently looking for a System Administrator/SAN Support Analyst to support our client’s SAN Storage, Backup and virtualization environments.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problemsAlert management to emerging trends in incidentsLiaise between resolver and other teams within the organizationProvide server, storage and systems support to a diverse group of clients via phone, email or portalDiagnose and resolve problems and issues at a more advanced level with focus and attention to detailProvide suggestions for improving and assisting with documentationPrioritize problems; escalate high priority requests in a timely mannerDevelop an understanding of the customer’s environment and maintain technical knowledgeDispatch technical service regarding hardware problemsQualificationsGood experience with VMware and other virtualization technologiesGood experience with SAN Storage technologies, arrays and best practicesExperience implementing, administering and supporting virtualization technologiesExperience with server BackupsExperience using Veeam Backup technologiesExperience with maximizing server disk space and server consolidationsExperience with Server restorationsGood knowledge of Windows ServersKnowledge of Linux ServersThis is a minimum 12 month contract role located in Toronto (work from home until deemed safe with occasional onsite visits). #J-18808-Ljbffr
