This full‑time, salaried position offers a comprehensive benefits package and profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada; relocation assistance will be provided. The Role As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4‑phase program to learn all aspects of our business, including shipping, receiving, counter sales, operations management, employee development, and more. Over 3.5 to 4 years, you will grow a sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive mentorship from current managers. Program Outline Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge, gain hands‑on experience with logistics, and learn customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing, credit management, and financial statements. Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement – Manage large‑scale projects, read blueprint drawings, and create material quotes. Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales – Identify new business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and expand the customer base. Phase 4: Leadership and Operations – Lead a team, mentor others, and run the business, focusing on leadership competencies and strategy. Upon completion, you will be prepared to manage a Canadian Profit Center location. Qualifications University degree or college diploma – all disciplines will be considered Positive attitude and results‑oriented mindset Desire to continuously learn and grow Excellent leadership, customer service, and organizational skills Strong work ethic and high integrity Ability to work independently and in a team Excellent communication skills and relationship building Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong interest in sales Valid driver’s license Additional Information Salary Range: $52,500 + Profit Sharing EMCO is an equal‑opportunity employer committed to a discrimination‑free workplace.
