1 week ago – Be among the first 25 applicants Permanent Full Time We are looking for a Bilingual (English and French) Life and Health Insurance Senior Customer Service Representative to provide best-in-class service to our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for answering customer inquiries via telephone and email and managing a variety of tasks such as reviewing current coverages and plans, assessing product needs and usage, and updating client file information. This position is hybrid and open in Montreal, Regina, Winnipeg, London and Toronto. Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8am-6pm. We would require you to be available between these hours. Responsibilities Responding to incoming calls and emails from existing clients Making outbound calls to existing clients Providing customers with detailed information about policies and products Maintaining internal database records Requirements Bilingualism (fluent in French and English) required, as the position will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills Previous experience working as a customer service representative in a fast-paced environment Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience In-depth knowledge of Life and Health Insurance products Friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations Previous experience with main-frame systems, Microsoft Office, record keeping/data tracking skills Previous background in sales, telephone sales or marketing preferred Ability to explain detailed policy concepts in a simple way Reliability Status security clearance – required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the Government of Canada website Salary The base salary for this position is between $40,300.00 minimum - $67,000.00 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation (i.e., annual bonus, commission etc).
