Events, Sponsorships and Communications Coordinator (Longueuil – hybrid) RCCAQ – Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec About the Role The Regroupement des cabinets de courtage d’assurance du Québec (RCCAQ) is a professional union of property and casualty insurance brokers and brokerage firms. Responsibilities Act as the main contact for any event organized by the RCCAQ, ensuring organizational needs and sponsor satisfaction and compliance with agreements. Propose venues and manage all event needs (annual conferences, golf courses, summits, assemblies, meetings, etc.). Ensure smooth registration and advocate for innovative, eco‑responsible events. Collaborate in setting costs for the annual sponsorship opportunity plan and evaluate various event registration packages. Respond to sponsors or business partners for event‑specific needs to ensure their complete satisfaction. Monitor the sponsorship opportunity plan based on surveys and satisfaction meetings. Assist sponsorship sales with contract development and invoicing. Create and update various lists. Develop event‑related social media publication calendars and provide graphic support. Maintain lists of subscribers, work on segmentation, and support communication strategy development. Follow up on advertisements sold, ensuring compliance with agreements. Support superior in production of publications, including follow‑ups, layout, and relief during absences. Plan and monitor event needs for which the RCCAQ is a sponsor or partner. Write certain texts under the supervision of your superior. Occasionally monitor graphic design projects. Perform any other related tasks as required. Qualifications Management experience in event and sponsorship coordination, including venue booking, logistics, and contract compliance. Experience communicating with sponsors and suppliers and multitasking within a collaborative team. Organized, rigorous, creative, and motivated to organize multiple events. Professional qualification in event or conference planning, or relevant training. Additional training in communications is an asset. Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience. Excellent command of MS Office. Strong logistics and project coordination skills. Proficient in communicating with sponsors, partners, and suppliers. Demonstrated problem‑solving ability. Excellent written communication in French (impeccable writing). Functional oral and written communication in English. Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry or a professional association is an asset. Benefits Team dedicated to organizing events. Work‑life balance.
