This role is an integral part of the team that responds to incidents that disrupt the application service that our Grant Thornton international team of accounting and auditing professionals rely on out in the field. We are not expecting you to know our software – we’ll train you on that – but we are expecting you to have some basic technical knowledge, business awareness, cultural awareness and service awareness. Plus your investigative and diagnostic skills will come in handyResponsibilitiesProvide direct-user support of our proprietary accounting and auditing software to Grant Thornton professionals on an international levelSupport the development and testing of the functionality and features of our proprietary accounting and auditing softwareQualificationsBusiness program or other post-secondary education considered an assetAccounting and/or bookkeeping knowledge or experience considered an assetStrong verbal and written communication skills and listening skills requiredPositive attitude and an unflappable temperament is a mustAbility to work in both a team environment and independentlyCultureDoane Grant Thornton — If you’re a bit like us, you’re driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking.
