OverviewCompany Peninsula Employment Services LimitedLocation: Kingston, Ontario (Field Based)Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + Company Car OR Car AllowanceSchedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PMRoleHealth and Safety Field Consultant – Health & Safety ConsultancyThe role is remote-based; you will provide advice, field support, recommendations, solutions and documentation to Peninsula clients using our systems, documentation and materials. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM with flexibility based on client needs. Potential for upward mobility.ResponsibilitiesProactively reaching out to clients to follow up and confirm appointments.Conduct onsite and virtual visits to understand the client's operations to create a Health and Safety management system including relevant policies and programs.Provide health and safety services including advice, support, recommendations, risk assessments, training, safe work procedure development, gap analyses to regulatory and management system requirements, inspections and audits.Advising clients on how to use Peninsula's health and safety management system and tools.Achieving internal key performance indicators.Completion of records and reports in a timely manner.Conducting project work developing and improving health and safety products and solutions.Assisting and collaborating with other health and safety staff in meeting client expectations.Education / ExperienceA degree or diploma from an accredited college or university.Having or pursuing OHS Designation (e.g., CRST, CRSP).Strong knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation throughout Canada.Strong background in developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety programs (training, auditing, evaluating process risks, safe work procedures, program management, and managed systems approach).Experience with implementing COR and ISO 45001 is an asset.A minimum of 3-5+ years of relevant work experience in health and safety.What you bring to the teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated appreciation for excellent customer experience.Able to work in a multi-faceted, multi-client, high-paced environment.Comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety experience across several industries.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.Very strong time management and organizational skills.Experience in dealing with regulators.High level of computer literacy (PCs, iPad, Salesforce).Driver's license and a clear driver’s abstract. #J-18808-Ljbffr
