Responsibilities Quality Control & Product Accuracy Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy of hardware components, finishes, SKUs, and quantities. Validate that all orders match pick tickets, packing slips, and customer‑specific requirements. Ensure packaging meets company standards for protection of hardware products to prevent damage in transit. Process Monitoring & Continuous Improvement Identify recurring shipping or picking errors and recommend preventive solutions. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and warehousing best practices. Documentation & Traceability Complete and maintain accurate quality inspection records, non‑conformance reports, and corrective action logs. Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate and included (labels, certifications, invoices, customer forms, etc.). Support inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and damaged goods promptly. Communication & Issue Resolution Work closely with warehouse, customer service, purchasing, and transportation teams to resolve order discrepancies. Communicate quality issues or repetitive errors to Supervisors/Managers for action. Requirements Experience in warehouse, shipping, or quality assurance (hardware industry experience considered an asset). Strong product identification skills and attention to detail regarding finishes, product codes, and hardware components. Knowledge of warehouse operations and shipping procedures. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
