The Senior Specialist II, Business Planning will provide analysis, strategic planning support, and market intelligence to the Mobile Experience (MX) Business Division. Analyze macro trends, global and Canadian market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities. Update and report key performance metrics for various products to senior management. Coordinate product promotional plans and track promotional activity, preparing end‑of‑program comparative results. Assist in the development of short, mid, and long‑term strategy initiatives. Work with MX Marketing to track product support and expenditures. Serve as liaison with corporate planning/financial planning teams. Analyze industry and market trends, including retail and B2B trends. Create reports for Samsung Canada senior management, North America, and HQ in Korea for multiple product categories. Collect and distribute product marketing assets, price lists, and promotional plans across the MX division. Assist in HQ communications and management planning. Collaborate with Category Business Managers to provide timely Market‑Sensing and other reports. Qualifications Education Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or technical subjects preferred; MBA preferred. Knowledge Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to interact and work with all levels within the organization. Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects in a changing corporate environment. Experience Prior business modeling experience preferred. 5 years’ experience in a technology or communication environment preferred. Prior experience supporting an RFP process. Experience in IT, Consumer Electronics, and/or Telecommunications industry. Track record in corporate strategy, strategic planning, or marketing analysis preferred. Proficiency in business‑level Korean language highly preferred. Experience in consulting, business analytics, working directly with C‑suite leadership.
