OverviewLOCATION: Fraser Valley AreaCOMPANY TYPE: Large International ManufacturingResponsibilitiesActing as financial advisor to the owner and executive team for strategic planning purposesOverseeing all accounting operations including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparationMonitoring and improving tracking methods for revenue and expensesCoordinating, managing, and monitoring the Finance departmentsAdvising on financing options to support growth of organizationLeading and managing the budgeting process for organizationResponsible for gathering financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, cost, and complianceCoordinating the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reportingManaging insurance coverage for the organization including complianceDeveloping and coordinating banking relationships for the organization including contracts and complianceAdvising and managing mergers and acquisitions due diligenceBe responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial information to appropriate groups, including internal parties, government regulators and outside agenciesEstablish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures in alignment with corporate values and guidelinesManaging Treasury and cash flowOther finance and administrative duties as requiredCreate, develop, and lead Controllers and other financial staff to execute on business planDemonstrate strong leadership through training and coaching to drive excellence and to implement continuous improvement activitiesBe an active and contributing member of the Executive team and all associated meetingsQualifications7-10 plus years of managerial accounting and financial management experienceA bachelor’s degree or equivalency in an accounting, finance, or business programProfessional accounting designation an asset - CPA or CMA plus MBAExperience within a manufacturing environment an assetThorough knowledge of and compliance to accounting principles and practicesMerger and acquisition finance experience an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
