To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You'll Be Doing The Senior Consultant, Application Development will be working with Shared Platform Technology under ECIF and will serve as a strategic liaison between Development, DevOps, and Production Support teams. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless communication, efficient process integration, and effective incident resolution across the software delivery lifecycle. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How You'll Succeed Cross Team Collaboration - Facilitate coordination and communication between Development, DevOps, and Production Support to ensure alignment on project objectives and operational requirements. Strategy and Roadmap - Identify and implement best practices to optimize workflows and enhance system reliability and performance. Monitoring & Reporting - Establish monitoring processes for production systems and provide regular performance and incident reports to stakeholders. Who You Are You can demonstrate 10+ years experience in Software development, DevOps, or Production support. You possess a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, and application monitoring tools. You demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include facilitating collaboration across teams, leading the resolution of production issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions, and overseeing deployment activities for various initiatives to ensure smooth transitions from development to production. This role also involves identifying and implementing process improvements, maintaining detailed documentation, and sharing technical knowledge to promote consistency and learning across teams.
