Material Handling – conveyors and vibratory feeders for aggregates, mining, food, and waste management industries. Opportunity – Electrical Engineer (EIT) Location: Richmond, British Columbia. The electrical engineer or EIT will report to the Director of Engineering and design electrical systems for brownfield modernization and greenfield installation projects. The engineer will have strong communication skills, technical acumen in electrical power and control design, and at least two years of experience with a systems integrator or engineering firm. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and commission power distribution systems, industrial IT, and control systems for global projects ranging from greenfield installations to plant modernisations. Develop technical specifications for MV and LV switchgear, VFDs, cables, UPSs, emergency generators, distribution transformers, and panelboards. Create drawings for single‑line diagrams, cable‑tray layouts, grounding layouts, lighting layouts, and installation standards. Prepare engineering documentation including motor lists, cable schedules, conduit lists, panel schedules, and tendering packages. Support RFI and change order requests, quantify change order value, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve technical issues. Identify risks, provide recommendations, and implement safe and practical design solutions. Deliver technical presentations to project stakeholders or prospect clients. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of electrical design experience from industrial companies or consulting services. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD or EPLAN as a 2D electrical design tool. Experience using 3D design tools (Revit preferred) to create plant‑wide electrical designs. Experience delivering single lines, schematics, cable schedules, load flow calculations, panel layouts, and IO lists. Experience with ETAP for short‑circuit, load flow, or protection coordination studies is an asset. Strong commitment to health and safety, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and results‑driven attitude. Travel Travel may be required to project sites and client meetings. Expected travel is 5%–25% based on project specifics. Education Diploma or undergraduate degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
