OverviewThe Workforce Planning Lead will provide strategic and operational leadership for workforce deployment across the hospital, with a specific focus on electronic rostering and temporary staffing. This is a key role in driving the hospital's approach to establishment control, cost-efficient staffing, and safe service delivery.Main duties of the jobThe Workforce Planning Lead will drive improvement in roster quality, workforce data reporting, and flexible staffing controls, ensuring all staffing activity is aligned with operational demand and financial targets. Through expert guidance, system leadership, and performance insight, the post-holder will shape how the hospital plans, delivers, and reviews its workforce in a more sustainable and strategic way. You will lead the optimisation of the HealthRoster system, working with managers, HR and Finance to ensure staffing is efficient, sustainable and aligned to demand. This is a chance to make a real impact by improving roster quality, providing powerful workforce insights, and embedding stronger controls on flexible staffing.
