We are currently seeking new or recent graduates to join our Management Development Program. This is a full‑time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate across Canada to complete their training; relocation assistance will be provided. The Role As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a four‑phase program that teaches every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. Over 3.5 to 4 years, you will build a sales territory of your own and provide world‑class customer service. Guidance, mentoring, and support will be provided by current managers and teammates across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO. Program Outline Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer service Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience with the logistics side of the business. Learn how products move from vendor to customer. Get involved in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more. Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement Help customers with various service issues and manage large‑scale projects. Build relationships with customers and vendors. Learn how to read blueprint drawings to create a quote of materials required for projects. Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales Find new business opportunities. Learn how to sell products, negotiate contracts and expand the customer base. Create level 5 customer partnerships. Phase 4: Leadership and Operations Develop strategic vision and lead a team. Mentor others and run the business. Focus on leadership competencies, coaching and setting vision and strategy. Qualifications University degree or college diploma – all disciplines considered. Positive attitude and results‑oriented mindset. Desire to continuously learn and grow. Excellent leadership, customer service and organizational skills. Strong work ethic and high integrity. Ability to work well independently and in a team setting. Excellent communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong interest in sales. Valid driver’s license. Additional Information Salary Range – $52,500 + profit sharing.
