DevOps sénior Python

Role : Senior Python with AWS
Location : Ontario, Toronto(CA)
Long Term Contract (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services.
• Utilize AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB) to build and deploy scalable solutions.
• Implement and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 6+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in modern software development practices, including CI/CD, version control (e.g., Git), and automated testing.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Experience with additional cloud providers (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React) is a plus but not required.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
