Our experts work together to meet the highest standards in the industry and innovate to exceed them.To meet our growth challenges, WSP is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our teams located in Calgary, AB, Edmonton, AB or Ontario offices.As a Senior Process Engineer, you will function as the process discipline lead on projects ranging from conceptual studies to detailed engineering of large mega projects. You will be part of our growing team, using your engineering skills to design facilities across Canada and globally. Be involved in projects within our Energy & Process division and contribute to a growing organization that meets client objectives and solves challenges.Why choose WSP?We value and are committed to upholding a culture of inclusion and belongingFlexible Work Policy supports work–life balanceA Canadian success story with a strong national presenceWe influence the built and natural environment in CanadaOutstanding career opportunities and a collaborative cultureWhat you can expect to do here:The role includes functioning as the process discipline lead on projects, managing client relationships, project quality, and ensuring budget and schedule targets are met.Coordinate with team members, other WSP groups, equipment vendors, clients, and sub-contractors.Prepare technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings, and review deliverables from junior and intermediate colleagues.Process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specification, mass balance, hydraulic analysis, and 3D layout review, including review of analysis and design by junior and intermediate colleagues.Mentoring and on-the-job training for junior and intermediate colleagues.Project management of multiple projects, including resource management and time management; support management with budgeting, strategy development, and delivering training programs.Primarily hybrid-based consulting engineering work with some opportunities for business travel and fieldwork.What you’ll bring to WSP:Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering12+ years of experience as a process engineer within a consulting environment. Prior experience as a Lead is an assetExperience in oil and gas (gas processing), hydrogen, carbon capture facilitiesCurrent P.Eng license in your province of residenceExperience with HYSIS or Promax software packages is an assetStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationshipsStrong project management and discipline lead skillsAbout UsWSP is one of the world’s leading professional services firms.
