Come and help us make LBMX a better company and an even better place to workPosition DescriptionThe Account Executive is responsible for one of two customer segments: sales to suppliers or sales to independent businesses. These two sectors are a major focus of LBMX and are expected to be the fastest-growing part of the business over the next few years. These customer sectors are in addition to our sales focus on buying groups and purchasing cooperatives.The successful candidate will be responsible for the sale of LBMX technology products such as PIM (Product Information Management), eCommerce Solutions, and B2B Integration services to one of these customer segments.The role will primarily be an inside sales role with potential for some travel to industry or group conferences. The Account Executive will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the solution, but will be supported by Solutions Engineers from a technical sales perspective.We welcome applicants from all locations. While our preference is for the successful candidate to join us at our London, Ontario office, flexible and remote arrangements may be available following the onboarding process. Ultimately, we’re focused on finding the right talent and potential to succeed in this role.Must be able to legally work within Canada.Positions to fill: 2ResponsibilitiesDevelop a proactive outreach to customers and prospects (most will be part of group supply chains with an established relationship to LBMX)Arrange/participate/manage calls with prospects and customers, to understand potential opportunities for LBMX products, question for understanding, and recommend appropriate solutionsDevelop proposals/presentations on account situations as requiredDevelop larger-scale campaigns to address multiple opportunities in an industry sectorUse webinars and other methods to expand messaging/reachMaintain, develop, and enhance customer relationshipsConsistently update Salesforce on all communications and process completionWork with the Sales Administration team to ensure all contract and process work is completed accuratelyComplete all staff work as required by management: sales reports, forecasts, and sales meetingsWork with marketing to ensure consistent messaging in presentations, reports etc.Work to add more opportunities through research and general lead generationSkill RequirementsProficient with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Salesforce, and PowerPoint.Highly organized, self-motivated professional with attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish.Strong customer focus with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to develop rapport with customers and team members over video and phone (e.g., Microsoft Teams).Collaborative and enthusiastic contributor to a positive team environment.Nice to HaveExperience selling/working with a SaaS companyFluency in FrenchExperience RequiredA university degree or college diplomaOne to two years of sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environmentThe Perks of Working with usCompetitive salary and benefits, including a health spending account and employee assistance program3 weeks vacation to start with additional paid “LBMX holidays” throughout the yearCompany matched GRSP contributionsEducation subsidies for job-related coursesMaternity/Parental and Compassionate Care Leave Top-Up ProgramA healthy work/life balanceFlexible Summer Hours$500 Staples Allowance for new full-time hiresNamed one of Canada’s Top 100 Small & Medium Employers (2022, 2023, and 2024)Winner of Canada's Top 100 Employer (2025)LBMX is committed to providing a fair and equitable work environment and encourages applications from qualified women, men, visible minorities, Indigenous Peoples, and persons with disabilities.
