With diverse operations across multiple jurisdictions, they are seeking an accomplished Tax Director to lead their tax function and play a key role in shaping corporate strategy. This role is ideal for a senior tax leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and is motivated by the opportunity to influence at the executive level.The Opportunity:As the Tax Director, you will oversee the organization’s tax strategy, compliance, and planning across a multi-entity structure. You’ll provide strategic direction, manage risk, and ensure alignment with business objectives while leading a team of talented professionals. This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role with influence across both Canadian and international operations.What You’ll DoLead the development and execution of corporate tax strategy to support growth and long-term objectives.Oversee compliance for corporate and indirect taxes across multiple provinces and jurisdictions.Provide executive-level tax planning advice on business transactions, acquisitions, reorganizations, and cross-border initiatives.Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.Partner with senior leadership and external advisors on risk management, audits, and complex tax matters.Ensure compliance with Canadian and international tax regulations while identifying opportunities for optimization.Drive process improvements and implement best practices in tax governance and reporting.What You BringCPA designation with 8+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership at a senior management or director level.Advanced technical knowledge of Canadian corporate tax; cross-border and international tax experience is a strong asset.Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program (preferred).Proven ability to advise executives on complex tax and financial strategies.Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.What’s In It For YouCompetitive Compensation PackageThe opportunity to shape and influence tax strategy at the highest level.Exposure to a broad range of complex tax issues across diverse industries and geographies.A collaborative, forward-looking executive team that values innovation and expertise.Professional growth opportunities in a respected, international organization.Base pay range: CA$150,000.00/yr - CA$170,000.00/yr #J-18808-Ljbffr
