OverviewWe currently have a job opening for a Structural Engineer in our Kelowna office to join our growing team. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on structural projects with a focus on the bridge sector. This position will involve leading bridge design, inspection and rehabilitation projects with support from senior staff and developing skills in all areas of project delivery, including:ResponsibilitiesInspection and assessment of existing bridge structures for municipal clientsDesign of concrete rehabilitation for municipal bridgesDesign of municipal and highway bridgesDesign of earth retaining structuresTender package preparation including developing supplementary technical specifications for use with the MMCD contract document frameworkContract administration in accordance with MMCDQualificationsRegistered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with EGBC4+ years of structural bridge engineering experienceUndergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institutionExcellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsCommitted team player and the ability to work independentlyCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to this position.A hybrid work environment that allows for a combination of working from home and in the officeCompetitive salary and benefits, including a fitness allowance, and company-matching pension programOngoing support for your growth and development, including a formal professional development program, mentoring programs, training opportunities, and professional designation supportEmployment detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Civil Engineering #J-18808-Ljbffr
