OverviewMAHC is a multi-site organization that includes Huntsville District Memorial Hospital Site and South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Site. As an Echocardiography Sonographer in Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide and maintain efficient and effective echocardiography service to the public in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.ResponsibilitiesBe capable of working both independently as well as a member of the diagnostic imaging team and other staff members of Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare (MAHC) in accordance with the Department’s Policies and Procedures.Ensure the safe and proper usage of sonography and other equipment required during echocardiography imaging and procedures in accordance with regulations and manufacturer’s recommendations.Provide excellent customer service to all patients with dignity and respect regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, type of illness or mental or physical challenges.Apply the knowledge, skill and judgment to perform all procedures for out patients, hospital and emergency department patients.Produce echocardiography images of the highest quality.MAHC strongly supports the growth and development of staff through education and clinical experience.
