Private Banking Associate – International Private Banking Apply for the Private Banking Associate role at RBC. What is the opportunity? As a key member of the client relationship team, the Private Banking Associate – International Private Banking is responsible for developing sales and service solutions through regular client interactions. You will also be responsible for direct support to the RBC Private Banking Clients with all activities. Note: This is a 12 month contract for maternity leave coverage. All internal applicants must have support from their Reporting Manager before applying for this role. What will you do? Meet with new clients to outline how the PBA role supports the Private Banker and provides superior client experience to HNW IPB clients. Act as primary contact for new and existing client needs, coordinating sales and fulfillment with product and service specialists. Resolve client issues to satisfaction and advise the Private Banker of potential escalation/major issues. Maximize opportunities to enhance retention, revenue growth and referrals. Assist clients with daily transactions, wire transfers and term investment renewals in a timely manner. Maintain data integrity, documenting all client sales and service contacts and results. Demonstrate personal commitment to up‑to‑date skills, knowledge and accreditations. Work out of our Marine Gateway (South Vancouver) or Downtown Vancouver as required. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Qualifications Minimum of 2–3 years retail banking experience. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. Strong working knowledge of MS Office. Proven client service skills. Excellent prioritization and organizational skills. Support from your Manager to apply to this role. May be based out of Marine Gateway (South Vancouver) or Downtown Vancouver Office. Nice-to-have Qualifications Completion of IFIC and/or CSC. Post‑secondary education in Commerce or Business Administration. Basic understanding of investment fundamentals and thorough understanding of RBC products and services. What’s in it for you?
