Overview Specialist, Leasing & Resident Experience At Pier 4 our portfolio of multi-family real estate assets is growing and we are looking for a Leasing & Resident Experience Co-Ordinator to join our team in Cambridge, Ontario. We seek an individual who is engaged in best-in-class leasing and service and who will advocate for and execute superior resident experience. At Pier 4 we aspire to be leaders in this space, grounded in property management expertise, relationship-focused business practices, and a drive for continuous improvement. We manage our properties with a focus on revitalization to ensure tenants feel comfortable in their homes. Reporting to the Manager, Residential Operations, the Co-Ordinator, Leasing & Resident Experience’s responsibilities include the leasing process from initial advertising to lease signing, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner, and delivering an excellent onboarding experience for residents. This role requires flexible working hours with some weekend work based on business needs. Responsibilities Professionally and courteously handle all telephone, email, and messages from prospective residents in a timely manner. Perform landlord and employment reference checks along with credit checks and obtain all documents necessary to complete the Tenancy Agreement. Coordinate unit viewings with prospective residents and provide information on available units, price, and amenities. Work with the marketing team to create innovative social media campaigns and advertise vacant units. Complete and maintain a weekly traffic report. Conduct regular market surveys to gain a comprehensive understanding of market conditions, completed properties, and current incentives. Inspect vacant suites daily/weekly and liaise with Property Management to ensure 100% Rent Ready status is maintained. Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. Respond to inquiries from current and prospective residents regarding leasing policies, rent payments, and maintenance requests. Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, including vacancies, move-ins, and move-outs. Provide support to the property management team by generating reports, analyzing market trends, and attending team meetings. Ensure compliance with laws and company policies and procedures. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years residential leasing and/or property management experience. High attention to detail and accuracy is critical. Exceptionally organized and detail oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities. Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements. Aptitude for working in a deadline-oriented environment. Commitment to discretion and confidentiality. Knowledge of the Landlord Tenant Act. Degree/diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
