Location: Prince George, BC The Falcon Group of Companies is a dynamic and growing organization with a diverse portfolio that includes Falcon Contracting Ltd. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team in Prince George, BC. Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle for one or more corporate entities Prepare and process accounts receivable invoices (inter-company and third-party billings) Monitor AR activity and resolve discrepancies Accounts payable; including data entry, supplier reconciliations, and payment processing Complete bank and credit card reconciliations, supplier account reconciliations, and inter-company account reconciliations Maintain and track fixed assets; calculate and record amortization and depreciation Prepare and file GST, PST, payroll, and other tax remittances accurately and on time Process bi-weekly payroll Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes including financial reporting Prepare year-end working papers for internal review and coordinate with external accountants to ensure timely completion of annual financial statements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support job estimating and project tracking Provide general office administration and reception support as required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience Experience in construction, forestry, or industrial services preferred Post-secondary accounting education; CPA, CGA, or CA designation is an asset but not required Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounting software, Excel, and Office 365 Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with team members across departments as needed We appreciate the interest of all applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
