About the Role BC Cancer offers a wide range of services in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care, Nutrition, Clinical Trials, and Patient & Family Counseling. The role focuses on the care of oncology patients, working with a team of specialized radiation oncologists and allied health professionals. Responsibilities Work with a team of specialized radiation oncologists and allied health professionals and participate exclusively in the care of oncology patients. Participate in ambulatory care treatment and follow‑up of patients. Support in‑patient care of patients receiving treatment. What We Offer Full‑time (1.0 FTE) position with the possibility of part‑time work on a permanent basis. Service contract and salary options available. Required Qualifications Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (FRCP, FRCS or CCFP). Eligibility for appointment to medical staff of BC Cancer, Royal Jubilee Hospital, and the University of British Columbia. In‑patient and oncology experience is an asset but not required. No prior radiation oncology experience required; BC Cancer will support training. Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety, anti‑racism, and related reports.
