This role is central to driving accurate forecasting, enabling effective S&OP/IBP processes, and supporting long-term business objectives. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration and digital transformation initiatives to enhance planning capabilities and decision-making.The Demand Planning Manager plays a key part in consensus building, embedding advanced planning tools and analytics into decision-making, and supporting the Integrated Business Planning Team as it optimizes inventory, production, capacity, and service plans that meet or exceed strategic objectives.Key Responsibilities Develop and manage demand forecasts across customer accounts and product categories to ensure alignment with business objectives and known volume influences.Lead monthly S&OP/IBP demand reviews using KPIs, O&R profiles, and trend analysis to achieve accurate consensus forecasts.Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and manage statistical models to meet target accuracy objectives.Support budgeting and long-range planning through hierarchical forecasting and demand aggregation.Monitor and report key metrics including forecast accuracy, bias, and promotional execution; translate demand outcomes into financial implications (cash flow, working capital, cost-to-serve).Oversee demand accountabilities within the commercialization process, ensuring alignment between new product introductions and forecast accuracy.Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to resolve forecast challenges and drive alignment.Facilitate decision-making across functions to support balanced, executable plans.Champion digital planning tools (D365, Power BI, Logility) and drive process improvements, automation, and adoption of advanced analytics.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, agility, and efficiency.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Materials Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 7 years of experience in demand/supply planning or related functions in a manufacturing environment.5+ years of management experience in food or consumer goods manufacturing.Strong knowledge of S&OP/IBP processes, advanced planning systems, and ERP tools.Proficiency in D365, Power BI, Logility or similar systems.Proven experience leading cross-functional planning processes and building consensus across Commercial, Finance, and Supply teams.Track record of driving digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.Collaboration & Leadership Team Size: May include direct reports (Demand Planners).Internal Collaboration: Daily interaction with Commercial, Supply Planning, and Customer Service teams.External Collaboration: Occasional engagement with customer teams.Leadership Expectations: Leads by example, fostering collaboration and accountability across the Planning team.
