Post - Production Quality Engineering Specialist Job Description This will be a day shift position ( hours per week) Position Title- Pay rate - will be $-$ per hour. Contract role - 1 year with possibility of extension Starting - ASAP (This is % on site) RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform Quality Core Tasks : Perform Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) in response to internal non-conformances and customer complaints & escapes Non-conformance analysis to support reduction of non-conformances, rework, and scrap Coach / Train hourly and staff personnel on Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) and problem solving as part of Site Quality Improvement / Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) initiatives Conduct product / process / workstation audits Support 3rd party / Customer audits Support Program Quality Manager interfacing with Customer on new programs when / if needed (limited role, full scope & timing is TBD). Provide support to Operations To reduce non-conformances, scrap & rework to : Reduce lead time Improve On-time Delivery Reduce costs Support the Company Model, QRQC, 5S, TPM & Tool Life Mgmt Support Continuous Improvement, PFMEA participation Support Industrialization Process - DVI / FAI planning Perform timely execution of QA Review and execute Add Info on NCR's raised in QIS Requirements Mechanical Engineering / Machining / Manufacturing Engineering background with three years of experience Thorough understanding of GD&T and manufacturing methods that include milling, turning, honing, grinding and inspection Ability to understand CNC / CMM programs and error-proofing methods Excellent problem-solving skills / aptitude Able to work in MS Office 0 environment Familiar with QIS Solid interpersonal skills If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for to be successful in this role, please apply online, email or fax your resume to Irena Shema Fax to 0 We are an equal opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
