We are seeking a Commercial Manager with a background in business or commercial law to strengthen our contract governance and commercial compliance framework. In this role, you will support the development of commercial agreements, act as a key stakeholder ensuring alignment with financial, operational, and compliance requirements, guide Sales Areas personnel through contract governance, streamline CRM/Salesforce processes, and lead training to embed global commercial tools and best practices. You will also conduct risk assessments and audits, identify process gaps, and recommend actions to drive accountability and continuous improvement. What You Will Be Doing Develop and maintain standard quotation, proposal, and contract templates to drive consistent customer experience and mitigate commercial and legal risk. Support local and global framework agreements with customers. Act as local approver for any commercial deviations within new quotations, working cross‑functionally to ensure compliance with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain. Formally manage the business risk assessment of contracts (new and amended) prior to business commitment. Support key stakeholders within the Sales Areas to ensure faster approval timelines and a smoother submission process within CRM/Salesforce. Train and embed new commercial management tools, systems, and processes as part of any global rollout. Lead regional training on commercial excellence, benchmark practices, and Sandvik ways of working. Conduct forensic process audits of regional adherence to internal policies and procedures, prepare gap assessments, and recommend gap closures to drive accountability and continuous improvement. Support the Internal Controls and Compliance team in audits to comply with internal policies, prepare gap assessments, and recommend gap closures. Investigate and log process deviations within the Sales Area and recommend next steps to drive accountability and continuous improvement. What You Will Bring Along Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Law, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in commercial contract lifecycle management with direct involvement in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements and post‑execution management. A strong track record collaborating with Legal Counsel, Finance, and Sales on structuring commercial terms, assessing liability exposure, and ensuring adherence to approval processes. A clear and well‑developed understanding of contract principles and legal terms and conditions, and the ability to understand financial reporting and business case assessment. Confident communication and influencing skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
