This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada. We’re looking for a data-driven advisor who can analyze market, project, and performance data to support smarter real estate development decisions across the Co-operative Retailing System. This role offers the opportunity to shape development strategy by providing insights, building business cases, and improving how projects are selected and evaluated. What you’ll do: Maintain accurate, reliable CRS performance data by compiling, validating, and resolving inconsistencies, while continuously monitoring datasets to uncover trends and insights. Partner with the RE&D Leads to provide market insights that guide project evaluations, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as construction, operations, commodities, and finance to support effective development decisions. Prepare clear, accurate financial and market analyses to support RFE presentations for all development projects, ensuring decision makers have the information they need to evaluate and advance projects through the development phase. Develop and manage the financial lookback process, analyzing variances between forecasted and actual performance to uncover insights that support operational improvements and stronger decision making for future projects. Who you’ll work with: You will work closely with other Specialists and Coordinators on the Real Estate team, and will report into the Senior Manager, Real Estate and Development. This team strives to cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration and forward thinking. Who you are: You are looking for a career in Real Estate and: Have 3‑6 years of relevant progressively responsible experience. Have a Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, economics, statistics or mathematics, computer science, data science, or engineering (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Previous experience with business market analysis, financial analysis, or data analysis specifically where actionable insights were derived from large datasets.
